Contemporary artist

Karoline Kaaber is a Norwegian contemporary artist working primarily with painting, alongside graphic works and ceramics.

Her paintings develop through an intuitive, layered process, moving between the recognizable and the unresolved. Urban spaces, landscapes and figures emerge and dissolve, shaped by memory, perception and experience.

Central to her practice is an exploration of how memory, expectation and personal experience shape what we see. Rather than offering a fixed narrative, her works remain open, inviting the viewer to bring their own experience and interpretation.

Based in Kragerø and Asker, Norway, Kaaber has exhibited in Norway and internationally, and her work is held in private collections internationally.
